Default Why search engines consider backlinks to rank a site?

The search engines treat your website like a Ballet Box. So, it takes every backlink to your site as a vote. Depending on the number of backlinks received, your website is branded in the search engine. So, if your site receives more backlinks, then your site has something useful or informative for the audience.

Surely as nothing else can be considered as a vote of the site. The more links, quality links you have the better for the site.

A search engine considers the content of the sites to determine the QUALITY of a link. When inbound links to your site come from other sites, and those sites have content related to your site, these inbound links are considered more relevant to your site. If inbound links are found on sites with unrelated content, they are considered less relevant. The higher the relevance of inbound links, the greater their quality.

    Hello

It's not just the number; it's the quality too. If you're still thinking about "numbers" then you're still at stage 1 .

And of course they need to consider links. How else will you rank pages based on a combination of content and authority? Spammers could rank high with fake content. That's why sites need authority, which mainly comes from links.
